Exciting Opportunity for a Laser Scientist / Physicist

Envisioneering is seeking a proficient Laser Scientist / Physicist to contribute to our innovative projects. This role demands a deep understanding of laboratory and electrical-optics (EO) domains, with an emphasis on autonomous research initiatives. Candidates with a background in Electronic Warfare (EW), Radar, or Laser engineering will find this position particularly appealing. A PhD in physics, engineering, or chemistry is highly desirable, although substantial relevant experience may also be taken into account.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possession of an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 10+ years of experience with a PhD, or 15+ years with a Master's degree
  • Expertise in laser system assessment, data interpretation, and experimental procedures
  • Understanding of infrared and ultra-short pulse laser technologies
  • Familiarity with femtosecond laser phenomena and design principles
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

SALARY: Competitive salary starting at $91,000 annually
