Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operation of end-to-end media management workflows used by the edit suites, live control rooms, and non-live playout.
  • Ensure all content plays out 100% of the time, performing fault finding and escalating to the correct team to resolve any issues.
  • Support additional live feeds and social media simulcast programming, as well as playout of all live and non-live channels.
  • Implement live streaming to multiple platforms, monitoring and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Correct configuration and operation of all applications in the Media Operations Center, ensuring the highest operational standards and agreed service levels are met.
  • Monitor all sales and inventory data, responding with appropriate on-air graphic information.
  • Conduct routine QC checks on software, processes, equipment, and all incoming and outgoing video and audio signals.
  • Perform service recovery according to set procedures during both server-based play out and live shows, informing all relevant departments through the ticketing system.
Requirements
  • Minimum Education: College degree, technical school, Military training, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum Experience: One or more years of recent engineering, control room, media operations, or network operations experience in a television broadcast environment.
