Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled American Sign Language Interpreter to support our educational environment. This role is essential in facilitating communication for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring their active participation in classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Provide on-site interpretation services
  • Assist in interpreting class discussions and various educational activities
  • Collaborate closely with educators and staff to meet students' communication needs
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is mandatory
  • EIPA score of 3.5 or higher is preferred
  • Experience in educational settings is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in ASL or Educational Interpreting is required
