**The Service Engineering Specialist is an hourly position with an anticipated annual compensation, including overtime, ranging from $75,000 to $105,000.

We are actively seeking candidates to provide service in various regions, and we have the flexibility to hire from anywhere across the Continental United States.

This role primarily involves traveling for service engagements and installations after completing training at our facility.


Service Engineering Specialist Responsibilities:

Key Duties Include:

  • Executing field installations and start-ups, performing inspections and conducting performance assessments to ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications and application requirements, while documenting product performance.
  • Providing training and guidance to users on the proper operation and maintenance of our products.
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and calibrating various refrigeration systems, electronics, and electro-mechanical components using schematics to restore products to optimal functionality.
  • Building and nurturing positive relationships with clients, which involves coordinating service appointments, generating work, promoting the advantages of refrigeration and controller upgrades, establishing preventive maintenance agreements, and conducting general service tasks.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Russell's Technical Products' warranty, maintenance, and service protocols.
  • Keeping accurate vehicle logs, maintenance schedules, and detailed records of field service and travel expenses.
Travel

This position requires regular local and regional travel to client locations.

Employees will receive full hourly compensation for travel time.

A weekly per diem of $70 will be provided for personal expenses, with no receipts required.

All travel expenses will be covered by the company.

A work vehicle will be supplied.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

Education, experience, or training in commercial/industrial refrigeration, HVAC/R, electronics, controls programming, and field service.

Relevant work experience in a similar service role.


Preferred qualifications include experience or training in cascade refrigeration systems, an EPA Universal Certificate, and background in the environmental simulation systems sector.

A valid driver's license is required.
