Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Support Specialist to join our team at the Community College of Baltimore County. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Transition Programs team, ensuring the smooth operation of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Program Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the Freshman Transition Program.
  • Plan and facilitate information sessions for prospective students.
  • Proctor placement testing and advising for Transition Program students.
  • Contribute to planning efforts for new faculty and student orientation sessions.
  • Register Transition Program students based on placement test results.
  • Attend and assist with program-specific advisor training sessions.
  • Advise a caseload of up to 20 students and maintain regular office hours.
  • Assist with student outreach and connect students to support services.
  • Provide academic direction and guidance for current students enrolled in the Freshman Transition program.
