Job Summary

Clarendon Early Education Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Home Visiting Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support to Family Child Care Educators, ensuring compliance with Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC) regulations, and promoting high-quality early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular business, technical assistance, and mentoring support visits to Family Child Care Educators to promote best practices and address areas of improvement.
  • Perform onsite meal service reviews to ensure compliance with DEEC regulations and promote healthy eating habits.
  • Facilitate childcare referrals and enrollment, ensuring timely and accurate processing in accordance with DEEC policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Training Director to develop and implement professional development trainings, focusing on continuous quality improvement, program planning, and DEEC policy compliance.
  • Provide technical assistance with DEEC policy and regulations, progress reporting, and curriculum development to support educators in their daily work.
  • Stay up-to-date with current DEEC regulations through ongoing staff meetings and state-issued trainings, ensuring accurate and effective implementation.
  • Represent the agency in community outreach activities, promoting Clarendon's mission and values.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; EEC teaching certification or CDA certification may be substituted with two years of equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge and application of MA Department of Early Education and Care Family Child Care regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to grasp, interpret, and enforce state and federal regulatory guidelines.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English required.
  • Excellent observation and written skills in English and Spanish.
  • Prior experience with Department of Early Education and Care licensing regulations policies preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work individually and as a team-player.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn custom databases such as Child Care Financial Assistance (CCFA) and ChildPlus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
