About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Title Specialist to join our team in East Bremerton, WA. As a key member of our Loan Servicing department, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating incoming title paperwork, perfecting and releasing liens, and ensuring effective and efficient department operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process all vehicle documentation, including fees, tax, and title information, and registrations according to specific state law.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of title terminology, concepts, practices, and procedures, and individual state laws.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of title documentation to resolve and avoid collateral issues.
  • Perfect liens in a timely manner by following up with branches, members, and others through various communication channels.
  • Review electronic lien systems to monitor for lien perfections or title issues.
  • Ship plates and registration to members upon receipt from the Department of Licensing.
  • Provide title support to members and front-line staff.
  • Manage the release of perfected documents on paid-in-full loans.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two years of experience working in a banking, credit union, or similar financial environment.
  • Knowledge of title processes desired.
