Role Summary:
The Breast Imaging Specialist operates under direct supervision, employing specialized expertise to generate high-quality mammographic images for both screening and diagnostic purposes tailored to specific patient demographics. This role includes the responsibility of maintaining necessary documentation for accreditation by MQSA, ACR, and FDA.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will:

  • Produce high-quality mammographic images.
  • Ensure compliance with MQSA/ACR/FDA documentation requirements.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in the field.

Qualifications:
We Require:

  • Current licensure as a Radiology Technologist in the State of Washington.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
  • ARRT Mammography certification (M) or completion of the Mammography certification (M) within four months of hire.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology is preferred.
  • 24 hours of continuing medical education every two years.
  • Current CPR Certification, renewed at designated intervals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology, and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a high-pressure environment.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred: Two years of experience in mammography.

Additional Information:
Please note that ongoing competency certification in American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) is required post-hire.
