Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in accordance with physician orders.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform quality images through protocols and positions to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, respecting patients' comfort and ability.
- Customer Service: Provide timely, responsive, expert services to customers in a positive, friendly manner, to include patients, physicians, and other fellow employees.
- Patient and Employee Safety: Maintain safe radiation levels at all times to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
- General Behavior: Arrive at the start of the assigned shift ready to begin work, take lunch and breaks at appropriate times, and leave work at the end of the assigned shift.
- Education: High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required. Graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- License, Certification, Registration: Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington). Basic Life Support.
- Additional Requirements: Communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Intermediate computer skills.
