Job Description

The Brand Marketing Associate Manager is a key member of the North America marketing organization at Merz North America. This role is responsible for supporting brand marketing strategy and executing tactical programs to drive the development and progress of brand marketing tactics, campaign materials, and sales programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Strategy: Develop and manage marketing campaign materials from start to finish, working with cross-functional stakeholders to create websites, print pieces, and digital materials.
  • Creative Thinking: Utilize creative thinking to develop new materials based on the strategic needs of the business.
  • Material Development and Approval: Lead and manage the development and approval process of copy and design.
  • Launch and Tracking: Launch finished materials into the market, track and report material usage and campaign impact.
  • Communication: Active communication with the Director of Brand Marketing, including problem/solution management, project development updates, and regular 1:1s.
Collaboration and Communication
  • Agency Partners and Stakeholders: Lead and manage all communication with agency partners and relevant cross-functional stakeholders, including creative agency, regulatory, medical affairs, and legal.
  • Launch Timeline and Deadlines: Create launch timeline/deadlines and actively communicate with relevant stakeholders on progress and completion.
  • Commercial Analytics: Engage with the commercial analytics team to better understand the business and uncover insights.
  • Global Marketing and R&D: Partner with Global Marketing and R&D counterparts to ensure best practice sharing across regions.
  • Field Communications: Craft and deliver field communications as needed, collaborating with the sales/marketing communication team.
  • Internal and External Customer Relationships: Develop strong internal and external customer relationships.
Administrative Functions
  • Support to Brand Marketing Team: Support the Brand Marketing team as needed, including scheduling meetings, agenda management, note taking, and communication with stakeholders.
  • HCP Contracting: Manage HCP Contracting process for KOL initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Manage budget and tracking of current projects and spend throughout the fiscal year.
  • Sales Initiatives: Initiate and manage tracking and reporting of sales initiatives for marketing leaders.
  • Inventory Management: Evaluate weekly inventory report of all marketing material and ensure the marketing storefront is up to date with replenishments and new items.
Field Engagement and Travel
  • Customer Events: Travel to participate at select customer events and quarterly field ride-alongs for the purpose of gathering customer engagement and field insights.
  • Industry Events: Attend various industry events as a representative of the filler team.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of marketing or project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience/knowledge of Veeva, Ariba, Icertis, Porzio Engage and familiarity with Tableau.
