Position Summary

North 40 Outfitters is seeking a Full-Time E-Commerce Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our online retail platform. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless customer experience from order placement to fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our lifestyle and dedicated to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Support Leadership:
    • Foster strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
    • Guide the customer support team by exemplifying outstanding service.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures while seeking process improvements.
    • Organize training sessions to enhance team skills and service delivery.
    • Enhance the customer journey by integrating hospitality into daily operations.
  • Store Fulfillment Oversight:
    • Collaborate with store management to ensure efficient staffing and communication for online order fulfillment.
    • Assist in the recruitment and performance assessment of store fulfillment personnel.
    • Establish best practices for fulfillment processes and methodologies.
    • Conduct monthly meetings and an annual training summit for fulfillment teams.
  • Order Management System Supervision:
    • Act as the primary user for order management platforms, overseeing training and issue resolution.
    • Ensure that new employees are equipped with necessary access and permissions.
    • Provide business insights to technical teams supporting these systems.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Manage daily inventory reconciliation and reporting.
    • Prepare monthly reports detailing customer support performance metrics.
    • Contribute to comprehensive e-commerce reports, including fulfillment and routing evaluations.
    • Lead evaluations of carrier services, analyzing costs and service effectiveness.
