Montana Specialty Mills, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at our Great Falls plant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our oilseed crushing and refining plant, ensuring the production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate production equipment and supervise the work of a shift of production staff.
  • Ensure quality products are produced in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with established production schedules and company standards.
  • Conduct regular checks of staff and equipment to ensure standard operating procedures are followed and company standards are met.
  • Report all manufacturing equipment issues to management and/or maintenance staff.
  • Ensure employees are provided required training for area assigned and tasks prior to assigning work.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of production/processing experience in an industrial setting or in a machine shop, or 1 year of experience with a technical degree or professional certification.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery, basic math skills, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, manage confined space entry, and withstand extended periods of walking and standing.
