Job Overview
The Retail Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to customers, ensuring a seamless retail experience through various responsibilities including inventory management, pricing accuracy, and addressing customer inquiries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Actively greet and engage every customer to foster a welcoming atmosphere. Stay informed about upcoming promotions and advertisements.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by informing customers about the products and services offered by the company. Utilize communication tools effectively to seek assistance on the sales floor and coordinate customer engagement throughout the store.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company policies and product knowledge to confidently address questions from both customers and associates.
  • Execute merchandise-related tasks to ensure compliance with presentation standards, including implementing plan-o-gram updates and adjusting pricing as necessary. Update store signage and promotional materials as required.
  • Operate the Point of Sale system to accurately process customer transactions, including purchases and refunds. Verify payment methods and ensure correct processing of customer payments.
  • Adhere to cash handling protocols to secure funds in locked cash drawers or retail safes.
  • Follow established procedures for processing special customer orders, preparing items for will call or delivery, and managing store transfers.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, supporting loss prevention initiatives.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits
