Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team at Parkhurst Dining. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dining service department, ensuring that food quality, service, and sanitation standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team members in their area of responsibility and consult with management to improve services.
  • Follow established Parkhurst and client policies and procedures, upholding standards.
  • Communicate using Smile Plus skills and coach team members on their use of the Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
  • Assist in purchasing foods and supplies, maintain presence in service areas to assess customer satisfaction levels, and resolve problems.
  • Ensure practices and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • 6 or more years of professional experience with 4 or more years in a food service role.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Culinary, Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent job-related experience.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations, organize workloads, and meet time deadlines.
  • Supervisory and team management skills desirable.
