DoD Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Government Contracts Professional to join our team at Safran Federal Systems in Rochester, NY. The successful candidate will have a strong background in DoD contracting, commercial contracting, and international contracting with expertise in Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulations System (DFARS).
Main Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating various types of contracts, including Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Consultant Agreements, and Subcontractor/Supplier Agreements.
- Preparing contractual portions of proposals for submission to the U.S. Government and other DoD Contractors.
- Providing guidance on contractual issues and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with Program Managers to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
- 4+ years of contract administration or related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
- Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) desirable.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000 - $130,000 per year.
