Job Title: Leadership Development Specialist

Special Olympics is seeking a highly skilled Leadership Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Leadership and Organizational Development Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our global leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement leadership development programs and initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of our global leadership team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and regional teams to ensure alignment and support for leadership development activities.
  • Manage the logistics and coordination of leadership development events, including workshops and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain databases and tracking systems to monitor leadership development progress and outcomes.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to regional teams on leadership development best practices and strategies.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in a relevant discipline such as planning, business administration, or project management.
  • 2 years work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, and outstanding attention to detail.
  • Exceptional technical aptitude with all MS Office products, database/IT systems.
  • Positive approach to work with proven ability to stay proactive and focused on routine tasks.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to adopt a patient, diplomatic approach and solve problems while maintaining strong work relationships.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Technical knowledge of PowerBi and Smartsheet.
  • Experience in the intellectual disability community and/or Special Olympics.
  • Experience working with senior executives and external business or NGO leaders.
