Daily Living Support Specialist

Pebody Management Systems Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Care Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing daily care to assigned residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for transporting residents to meals, appointments, and activities, as well as providing one-on-one supportive interaction to enhance their quality of life.
About the Role
This is a part-time or full-time opportunity, offering a competitive salary of $17-$18 per hour. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will work closely with the charge nurse and certified nursing assistants to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily care to assigned residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist residents with mobility issues, such as transferring and positioning. Transport residents to meals, appointments, and activities, ensuring their safety and comfort. Provide one-on-one supportive interaction to residents, engaging in activities that promote socialization and relaxation. Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Report any concerns or changes in resident condition to the charge nurse or certified nursing assistants.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior experience in a care-related field preferred.
