Role Summary:
The primary responsibility of a customer support representative is to engage with clients to provide information regarding products and services, as well as to address and resolve any complaints. This role typically involves identifying client issues, proposing potential solutions, and offering follow-up assistance as necessary. Customer support representatives may handle both incoming and outgoing communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer service or billing issues by executing tasks such as processing exchanges, issuing refunds, and modifying invoices.
- Reach out to clients to address inquiries or inform them of the outcomes of claim investigations and any forthcoming adjustments.
- Escalate unresolved customer complaints to the appropriate departments for further resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in accurately documenting and recording customer information.
- Prior experience with software applications, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in customer service is required.
