Job Title: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at Air Distribution Technologies in Plano, TX.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will provide exceptional support to our customers, sales staff, and internal teams by processing orders, responding to inquiries, and addressing customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, sales staff, and internal teams, providing prompt and accurate responses to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Process and change orders, credits, and product return authorizations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of customer transactions.
  • Run customer order reports to proactively identify and resolve potential issues, ensuring timely shipment of orders.
  • Promptly issue Credit, Debit, and Return Material Authorizations, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Manage customer orders from placement through shipment, providing accurate lead times and pricing verification, and ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and sales staff, providing exceptional service and support to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager, ensuring seamless execution of customer service operations.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service support role, preferably in manufacturing with a focus on sales, distribution, and manufacturer representation.
  • Basic math and typing skills, with the ability to accurately process orders and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and Word, with the ability to create and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Competent telephone skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a focus on customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to accurately process orders and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Must be able to multitask, with the ability to handle multiple customer inquiries and orders simultaneously.
Work Environment:

Typical office environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and support to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
