Opportunity Overview

MaineHealth Medical Group is seeking a skilled solid tumor oncologist with a focus on gastrointestinal malignancies to join its faculty at the flagship cancer center in Portland, Maine.

Key Highlights
  • Part of the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network (MHCCN), a statewide, integrated cancer care delivery network.
  • Opportunity to be part of a robust research program through membership of the NCI's Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP).
  • Faculty position at the Tufts University School of Medicine (TU) with opportunities for clinical trials and investigator-initiated research.
  • Leading-edge analytics and metrics through membership of ASCO CancerLinQ and EPIC EMR system.
  • Hybrid academic-community based, fully subspecialized hematology-oncology practice with 11 physicians and 9 APPs.
  • Full infusion service and oral chemo dispensary.
  • One week out of approximately every 10 weekend call requiring rounding at one hospital.
Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible for hematology or hematology and oncology.
  • New graduates and those early in their careers are especially encouraged to apply.
