Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Classical Hematology Team at Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with hematologists to evaluate and manage patients with various benign hematological disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient consult services and lead condition-focused clinics to deliver patient education and counseling, follow-up care, and collaborate with hematologists to evaluate and provide recommendations on patient management.
  • Engage in independent decision-making about patient needs and provide healthcare services to adults in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and access to clinical trials and advanced technology.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with prior primary care experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
