The Inside Sales Account Manager is a key position within Domtar, responsible for maintaining and growing our existing customer base. This role requires a strong understanding of customer requirements, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain existing customer relationships through order management, pricing, credit, service issues, and quality control.
- Develop new business opportunities through order history analysis, product knowledge, SLA's, inventory management, sales performance, and cost-to-serve analysis.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, including pricing, products, delivery schedules, and service platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree or minimum 3+ years of experience in an inside or outside sales environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to leverage technology to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a CRM such as salesforce.com.
- Sales experience, particularly in a B2B environment.
- Prior export experience.
- Bilingual capabilities (English, French, and Spanish) a plus.
