About the Role

The Client Marketing Associate plays a pivotal role in the Client Marketing team at MBK Search, focusing on investment and fund marketing strategies. This position requires collaboration with investment and business development teams, as well as Brand and Communications, to create marketing materials that showcase the firm, its funds, and its capabilities to potential clients and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create Compelling Sales Presentations: Develop and deliver sales presentations that effectively communicate investment capabilities and products to institutional investors.
  • Develop Marketing Materials: Create and maintain various marketing materials such as fund brochures, strategy outlooks, and market review materials to support capital raise campaigns and business development.
  • Participate in Strategic Projects: Contribute to projects aimed at marketing modernization, innovation, and technology automation.
  • Manage Project Timelines: Oversee internal project timelines and approvals to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Handle Multiple Projects: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure data accuracy and relevance.
  • Work in a Dynamic Environment: Work efficiently in a deadline-driven and dynamic environment.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in Investment Management: 5-7 years of experience in investment management.
  • Alternative Investments Experience: Experience in alternative investments like hedge funds, private credit, private equity, etc.
  • Marketing Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other marketing tools.
  • Self-Motivation and Business Acumen: Strong self-motivation and ability to grasp complex businesses quickly.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills with high attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, including data visualization.
  • Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Sound decision-making, problem-solving, and financial analysis abilities.
  • Initiative and Integrity: Initiative, integrity, and the capability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Education: BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
