Compounding Pharmacy Specialist

Option Care Health is seeking a highly skilled Compounding Pharmacy Technician II to join our team. As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician II, you will work under the direction of a licensed pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications and supplies in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as state regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
- Prepare medications for accurate compounding.
- Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to ensure correct dosages.
- Ensure quality standards are met by reviewing and inspecting compounded and packaged medications.
- Verify that all compounding and packaging is inspected and approved by a licensed pharmacist.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
- Licensed or registered (if required by the state).
- Previous healthcare or pharmacy technician experience.
