About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at CHI Health St. Mary's. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering effective treatments to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the primary care team in recognizing, treating, and managing mental health, substance abuse, and psychosocial issues.
  • Provide brief, focused interventions for patients with mental health and substance abuse within the primary care setting or referral to a specialty treatment center.
  • Provide crisis intervention services when needed and assist in detection of high-risk patients.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Counseling or a related Behavioral Health field.
  • Two years of post-license experience in mental health, addiction recovery, or a related field.
  • Acceptable licenses include LCSW, LIMHP, PhD, or PsyD.
