We are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator who embodies this passion and dedication.

Key Responsibilities

The Volunteer Coordinator will oversee the Hospice's Volunteer Program, which includes:
  • Documenting efforts to recruit and retain volunteers
  • Providing comprehensive training and orientation to ensure volunteers understand their roles
  • Assessing and maintaining records of volunteers' skills and competencies
  • Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to ensure seamless integration of volunteer services
  • Developing a public relations strategy to enhance relationships with volunteers and the community
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of events related to the volunteer program
Qualifications for Success
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams towards common goals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Preferred knowledge of hospice management and volunteer engagement
