Communicative Disorders Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Communicative Disorders Specialist to join our team at Christian County Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for screening, assessing, and identifying students with communication disorders that negatively impact their educational progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen and assess students with potential communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to address identified communication needs.
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students in educational settings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Professional experience under the supervision of a certified supervisor.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Licensed as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant by the Kentucky Board of Speech Language Pathology.
  • Criminal record check clearance as per Kentucky State Law.
  • Meet health requirements specified in the district personnel policy.
Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
