Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the PACU department, utilizing the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care that meets the patient's needs.
  • Assess patient conditions, implement treatment changes as necessary, and work with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of critical care experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
  • Additional languages preferred.
