Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pre-Op/PACU department at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to make informed decisions and prioritize patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
  • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years Critical Care experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
  • Additional languages preferred.
