This is a FULL-TIME, Contract-to-Hire opportunity, with the potential for permanent employment after a 90-day period.

Job Overview:

TEKsystems is currently seeking applications for CCTV and Alarm Service Technicians to engage in installation and service projects across various retail locations within the Kansas City Metro area.

We are looking for motivated and dependable technicians who can work autonomously and devise solutions to effectively complete tasks. This position offers long-term employment with competitive compensation and outstanding benefits for qualified individuals. We prioritize building relationships and invest in the growth of our employees.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of diverse CCTV systems, as well as structured cabling techniques and standards. Familiarity with camera operations and DVR/NVR configurations is highly advantageous.

We seek a proactive self-starter capable of working independently and resolving challenges to ensure project completion.

Candidates must be adaptable to various layouts and environments, as each project will present unique challenges. Technicians will be responsible for cabling, system installations, and troubleshooting as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:


• Statewide travel requirements


• Company vehicle provided


• Ability to operate boom and scissor lifts up to 60 feet safely


• Capability to climb structures up to 60 feet using a tower climbing harness (training on proper equipment use will be provided)


• Proficiency in terminating Cat6 jacks and RJ45 connectors


• Skill in mounting and troubleshooting network cameras
