Territory Sales Manager

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and managing established and new customers, selling food and non-food items to achieve sales and profitability goals. This role requires the ability to foster strong customer relationships, manage deliveries, communicate with customers, and identify new business opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
• Develop and manage customer relationships to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department, troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process, and communicate with customers.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and clients.
• Identify new business opportunities, develop new accounts, and leverage other resources to support top penetration opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales to share information with customers as part of value-added services.
Requirements
• 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry or a related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships, cold call to develop new business, and work in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and customer relationship management tools.
