Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty Psychiatrist to join our team at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Psychiatry. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for providing clinical care, supervising trainees, and contributing to departmental and university service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to adult patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Supervise and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and other trainees
  • Contribute to departmental and university service, including committee work and teaching
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry
  • Completion of an accredited residency program or equivalent
  • Current licensure as a physician in Tennessee
  • Eligibility for malpractice insurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Subspecialty training in adult psychiatry
  • Experience in clinical supervision and teaching
  • Research experience and publications
