About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Apogee. As a key member of our operations division, you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our enterprise Wired and Wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Network Access Control (NAC) solutions
  • Support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for access policy enforcement
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues
  • Collaborate with the operations team to resolve end-user and network escalations
  • Monitor, investigate, and action equipment alarms
  • Collaborate with Apogee on customer installation activities as required
  • Track and update escalation tickets
  • Ensure that Apogee's policies and end-user agreement are upheld
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Experience in effectively diagnosing and resolving network outages (layers 1-3)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, CWT, CWNA
  • 1-3 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure
