Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Health Information Exchange Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Oracle Health Information Exchange (HIE) team, you will be responsible for installing enhancements, code patches, and upgrades to our application as suggested by developers and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as engineer on Oracle HIE projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of solutions.
  • Provide tier 3 troubleshooting and issue resolution, leveraging expertise in Oracle Health and HIE systems.
  • Mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Manage changes and project activities, communicating effectively with impacted engineers, project managers, vendors, and clients.
  • Monitor project progress to assess and manage project risk, ensuring quality assurance and delivery of solutions.
  • Implement enhancements to align with project scope, driving testing strategies with solution teams.
  • Lead design and specification review sessions, demonstrating expertise in delivering functional and technical solutions.
  • May act as team lead on projects, guiding team members and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in relevant fields, including 2 years of consulting experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
