Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Professional to protect our hospital's assets and minimize exposure to loss. The successful candidate will have a strong background in leadership and 5 years of clinical or healthcare-related experience.

About the Role
  • The Chief Risk Management Strategist will provide critical advice to administration on potential sources of loss, make recommendations to mitigate risk, and oversee safety and risk mitigation initiatives related to medical errors and patient outcomes.
  • This role involves monitoring and analyzing data, reporting findings, conducting investigations, educating staff on regulatory compliance, and facilitating performance improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Administration to develop long-term goals for the department and services aligned with hospital objectives.
  • Establish strategies to achieve specific goals and objectives in concert with organizational priorities.
  • Educate staff on their responsibilities for regulatory compliance and ensure employee adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Implement and manage hospital policies, ensuring regulatory standards are met and employees comply.
  • Oversee employee matters, including recruitment, management, and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in nursing or a related field preferred.
  • 5 years of clinical or healthcare-related experience.
  • 7 years of professional experience demonstrating progressive leadership skills.
Compensation Package

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
