Job Overview
Texas Children's Hospital West Campus is a leading healthcare provider in the Greater Houston area. We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Healthcare Professional to join our team.

About the Role
This part-time position offers an average of 3 shifts every 2 weeks, working hours from 7p-7a. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in pediatric settings, with a strong preference for those with emergency room experience.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide high-quality medical services to children, including health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. They will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Additionally, they will be responsible for prescribing medications, administering vaccines, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.

Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (for Physician Assistants) or a Master's degree in nursing (for Nurse Practitioners). A valid RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact is also required. Furthermore, certification by the Texas Medical Board (for Physician Assistants) or the Texas Board of Nursing (for Nurse Practitioners) is necessary. Strong pediatric experience and emergency medicine skills are highly preferred.
