Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead our Nuclear Weapons Effects Analysis team. As a key member of our Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program, you will be responsible for designing and developing systems that can operate in extreme environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in radiation effects modeling and testing
  • Design systems that can withstand hostile environments
  • Guide and mentor team members in nuclear weapon effects modeling and parts/equipment testing
  • Develop and implement radiation transport modeling and simulation techniques
  • Perform total dose, dose rate, neutron displacement damage, and single event effect testing
  • Conduct radiation effects circuit analyses, including TREE, SGEMP, and EMP
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field from an accredited university
  • Minimum 14 years of experience in modeling and testing with respect to radiation effects
  • 8+ years of experience in nuclear weapon effects modeling and parts/equipment testing
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with investigation in the last 6 years
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Weapon System Experience (Minuteman III or similar military or industry experience)
  • MBSE Experience
  • Strong familiarity with MIL-STD-1766
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
