Role Description:
Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Senior Systems Test Engineer to join our team. This role will be pivotal in supporting strategic defense initiatives. The position may include a competitive relocation assistance package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical planning and integration for the Guidance System, ensuring comprehensive verification and validation processes.
- Oversee the development of test equipment requirements and validate their functionality to meet project specifications.
- Translate Systems Engineering and customer requirements into effective test solutions, considering technical, schedule, and budget constraints.
- Conduct functional analyses and trade studies to convert end-user needs into precise hardware and software specifications.
- Support all phases of the systems life-cycle, including concept development, design, integration, testing, and operational maintenance.
- Guarantee the quality of integration and test products, including test plans, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance testing processes across various environments.
- Engage with end-users to ensure that integration and test products meet quality standards and operational needs.

Qualifications:
- 14 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 12 years with a Master's; 9 years with a PhD; or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher.
- In-depth knowledge of inertial guidance and control systems.
- Experience in integration and testing, particularly in test design and execution.
- Proven ability to design and execute experiments for performance testing.
- Experience in building and operating test environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher.
- Strong background in systems engineering for complex aerospace projects.
- Familiarity with environmental testing and test equipment development.
- Experience in agile team environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage project schedules and budgets.
This position operates on a standard 9/80 work schedule, allowing for every other Friday off.
