Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Civil/Site Engineer to enhance our team. Whether you are involved in large-scale retail projects, residential communities, or smaller commercial ventures, we value your insights and creativity while expertly guiding you through the intricate development landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engineering calculations and prepare project estimates.
- Develop detailed drawings by modifying existing designs or creating new ones based on sketches.
- Ensure compliance with both company and client design standards.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control by reviewing design methodologies and outcomes.
- Interpret multi-disciplinary drawings and respond to information requests.
- Carry out field inspections and surveys, documenting findings through reports.
- Research applicable codes and integrate them into design work.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on project designs.
- Create 3D models and explore design alternatives.
- Assist in proposal development and client communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 1-2 years of relevant engineering experience; EIT or PE designation preferred.
- Interest in Civil/Site Engineering projects; prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD, HydroCAD, and WaterCAD.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with proficiency in Civil3D.
- Experience in land development, pipeline, solar site, stormwater, and grading design projects is a plus.
