  • Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all components of The Nutrition Care Process. Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients in alignment with established Dietitian Practice standards and National Care Guidelines as set forth by recognized Dietetic and Nutrition Support Organizations. Implement tailored nutrition interventions and objectives. Lead the healthcare team in crafting and executing nutrition care plans. Engage with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals in a timely and effective manner. Provide expertise in The Nutrition Care Process and manage the delivery of Medical Nutrition Therapy per Provider directives, including specialized nutrition support (enteral and parenteral nutrition). Systematically assess the quality, safety, appropriateness, and effectiveness of specialized nutrition therapies in collaboration with other healthcare practitioners. Mentor Dietetic Interns. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to further departmental and organizational objectives. Design and deliver educational programs for clients, students, employees, and community groups.
  • Qualifications
  • Education
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Required: Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related discipline; graduates after January 2024 are eligible
  • Experience
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of clinical practice experience
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Nutrition Diagnostics and Nutrition-Focused Physical Examination
  • Preferred: Experience in delivering specialized nutrition support
  • Skills
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and performing mathematical calculations relevant to the role, along with computer literacy
  • Effective communication skills for interactions with individuals and groups
  • Able to follow instructions and collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Capable of standing for extended periods
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration
  • Required: Registered Dietitian with relevant State Licensure
  • Required: Maintains Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Required: Maintains applicable State Licensure
  • Preferred: Board certification in advanced specialty practice
