As a Fire Protection Inspector with Fire & Life Safety America, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and backflows with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test fire protection systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Identify and report any deficiencies or issues with fire protection systems
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery
  • Operate specialized equipment and tools to complete inspections
  • Plan and coordinate inspections to meet customer needs
  • Participate in on-call rotations to handle emergency service requests
  • Ensure company vehicles are clean and well-maintained
  • Understand and follow company safety policies and procedures
  • Attend training and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry developments
  • Train and mentor junior inspectors

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • NICET certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in fire protection inspection required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to operate a computer and read electronic blueprints
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required
