**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Valley Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care to individuals with mental health and chemical dependency issues.

**Responsibilities**

  • Provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
  • Monitor each patient's location per the Observation Policy and Procedure.
  • Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and document any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior, or ability to work toward treatment plan goals.
  • Comply with established policies and procedures requiring a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A combination of behavioral health education and work experience totaling 4 years.
  • Successful completion of (SAMA) including restraint and seclusion policies within 30 days of employment.
