About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in guiding the team to create a positive guest experience
  • Ensure the successful implementation of Cowboy Chicken initiatives and programs
  • Assist in achieving or exceeding all established financial sales and profitability plan
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Meet goals for service, operations, and financial results
  • Enforce restaurant controls, including cash and inventory management
  • Maintain appropriate staffing and prepare weekly schedules
  • Hire and onboard new team members
  • Develop and train team members to provide outstanding service
  • Monitor and reinforce safety procedures
  • Enforce leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness
  • Administer all paperwork in a timely manner
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and meet established sales plan for the unit
  • Participate in catering and local restaurant marketing in the local trade area
  • Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs to take advantage of sales and public relations opportunities
  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Requirements
  • High school or GED required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Experience with management, restaurant, and customer service
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Pleasant disposition, sociable, accommodating nature, and enthusiasm
  • Self-motivated, creative, and adaptability
  • Basic computer and telephone knowledge
  • Completion of Cowboy Chicken management course upon hiring
  • Ability to perform all related competencies outlined in the Cowboy Chicken Shift Management Training Workbook
  • Must meet Cowboy Chicken driving standards (three-year clean driving)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
