Restaurant Operations Manager

As an Assistant Manager at Border Foods, you will play a crucial role in reinforcing our CORE values: Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment. Your mission is to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the entire restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive work environment.
- Build a strong team by sourcing, hiring, and developing excellent Team Members.
- Conduct New Hire orientation and develop training plans for each new hire.
- Minimize loss through strict observance of cash handling policies and proper training of Team Members.
- Demonstrate efficient labor control, inventory control, and waste management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
- Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
- Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
- ServeSafe Certified.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's license and vehicle insurance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands for this position are sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.
