Automotive Fluid Service Technician

The Automotive Fluid Service Technician is responsible for servicing vehicles as directed by management, adhering to all established protocols and guidelines. This role includes tasks such as tire rotation, conducting comprehensive inspections, and replacing automotive fluids.

The technician will assess various vehicle components including oil levels, tire pressure and condition, filters, windshield washer fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission and differential fluids, as well as engine coolant.

Our commitment is to deliver exceptional service while ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles during service or repair tasks.
  • Inspect all fluids and maintenance-related components, topping off or replacing fluids or filters/parts as necessary.
  • Conduct routine service inspections or tests and complete standard maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure that all required documentation is accurate and complies with regulations and standards.
  • Assist in maintaining shop appearance and safety standards, contributing to the efficient operation of the shop through duties such as inventory management and other general tasks.
  • Adhere to all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in all staff meetings, training sessions, and educational opportunities as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional demeanor and reliability.
  • Strong focus on safety and customer service.
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic.
  • Able to read and understand instructions.
  • Physical capability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as required.
  • Entry-level technicians may have relevant work experience.
