Position Overview:
This role involves leading and supporting the development, maintenance, and deployment of functionalities associated with our Oracle E-Business Suite.

The focus will be on General Accounting and Financials, requiring collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and implement enhancements that streamline operations and improve effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather and assess business requirements, determining the best approach using Oracle capabilities and customizations.

- Formulate recommendations, business cases, and estimates for new functionalities aimed at enhancing business processes and application performance.

- Develop, test, and implement new Oracle features, customizations, and configurations.
- Investigate issues related to Oracle E-Business Suite functionality, data, and interfaces, implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify potential improvements or new capabilities that could benefit the organization.
- Document and estimate specific requests for new functionalities, assessing their value to the organization.
- Maintain documentation for Oracle Business Suite configurations and customizations in line with standard application methodologies.

- Work alongside infrastructure, database, and application development teams to ensure comprehensive testing.

- Assist in the orientation and training of Oracle end users as needed.
- Mentor IT team members to foster their professional growth.
Qualifications:

This position is composed of approximately 60% functional and 40% technical responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in documenting requirements, recommendations, and system information clearly.
- Experience in estimating work and timelines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- Skilled in analyzing data and processes to identify and resolve issues in complex environments.

- Familiarity with information technology and Oracle standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Capability to work with business customers to understand their processes and functions.
- A commitment to staying updated on Oracle E-Business Suite and related technologies.
- Extensive experience with Oracle E-Business Suite modules, interfaces, and technologies.
- In-depth functional knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite modules, particularly in AR, CE, GL, and iExpense, with additional experience in PA, GMS, and FA preferred.
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL, with the ability to develop queries and packages.

- Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF), including personalizations and extensions within the Oracle E-Business Suite.

- Familiarity with Oracle Workflow Builder and/or Approvals Management (AME).
- Experience with BI Publisher, Oracle Report Builder, and/or OBIEE.
- Background in budget systems administration, interface development, and end-user support.
- Experience in maintaining external bank interfaces.
