Job OpportunityRER Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Program Planning and Commercialization Advisor to support the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) in delivering clean energy demonstration projects at scale. This position will be part of the Strategy and Program Development Office, responsible for advancing the Office's mission and programs.Key Responsibilities
  • Support OCED's leadership in advancing the Office's mission and programs
  • Advise on planning, design, and development of funding programs to address systemic barriers and create a robust ecosystem around clean energy demonstration projects
  • Support planning informational workshops, organizing merit reviews, and briefing selection officials
  • Collaborate with Federal officials on program planning and management
  • Support monitoring and evaluating technology area project portfolios to ensure program and individual project performance goals are met
Requirements
  • Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust
  • 2-6 years (combined) relevant experience in the needed areas listed
  • Demonstrated interest and technical expertise in energy, energy technologies, and sustainability
  • Experience working with small businesses/start-ups/incubators/accelerators
  • Demonstrated experience in technology transfer and commercialization
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to perform detail-oriented work
  • Experience in conducting risk versus payoff assessments and gap analysis
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills are a must, including the ability to synthesize volumes of data and communicate technical and financial ideas and concepts to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated independent problem-solving, leadership, and innovation skills
Education and Compensation

Master of Science (MS) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree (e.g., engineering, sciences, social sciences, mathematics)
