About the role

As a Commercial Operations Specialist at Cropster GmbH, you will play a key role in optimizing operational processes that support the commercial team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficiency of sales operations, manage data, and improve workflows that enhance overall business performance. By supporting the commercial team with data-driven insights and process improvements, you will help us continue to deliver value to our customers and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement improved workflows and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of commercial operations.
  • Sales Operations Support: Collaborate with the sales team to manage and streamline key operational functions, including sales pipelines, order processing, contract management, and hardware inventory management.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate commercial data in our CRM system (Hubspot) and other tools. Generate reports and provide insights to help guide decision-making and strategy.
  • Forecasting and Analysis: Support sales forecasting and monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure optimal resource allocation and business performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure that commercial operations are aligned with broader business goals and timelines.
  • Contract Management and Compliance: Ensure all contracts and agreements are compliant with company policies and industry standards. Maintain up-to-date documentation for internal audits and external review.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement within commercial operations and suggest new tools or methods to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Customer Coordination: Assist in managing customer inquiries related to orders and contracts, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience.
We are looking for someone with
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, or business process management.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and data management platforms like Excel, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in managing and interpreting data to drive insights and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the coffee industry or a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with process automation tools or software to streamline operations.
  • Experience supporting sales teams with operational insights and contributing to strategic initiatives.
