Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operations Specialist to join our team at Vanda Pharmaceuticals. This role will be responsible for working with multiple teams to synthesize findings, develop improvement recommendations, and lead execution of initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business practitioners to drive growth, performance, and revenue generation
  • Support high-impact data research, analysis, and visualization projects
  • Leverage data to discover patterns and solve strategic analytic business problems
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance operations, market access, and reimbursement
  • Manage vendor relationships and facilitate operations between the company and vendors
  • Conduct and manage ad hoc requests and initiatives from sales, marketing, and executive leadership
Requirements
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting, Management, Marketing, or Data Science
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to adapt within a dynamic environment
  • Advanced data, financial acumen, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Python, SQL, ArcGIS, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Team player, friendly, collaborative, and collegial
