Job Summary

Hanover Foods Corporation is seeking a skilled Utility Person to join our team on 1st shift. As a key member of our production team, you will assist Leads in setting up lines and fill in for various positions as assigned by the Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist Leadperson in setting up lines, as needed.
  2. Fills in for various positions, as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Leadperson.
  3. Operate the Depal Machine and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  4. Utilize forklift and electric pallet jack to move materials and products.
  5. Perform laborer duties for ingredient handling and container handling.
  6. Assist with Closing Machine Operator duties.
  7. Prepare concentrate and understand bean soaking procedures.
  8. Responsible for heavy lifting and maintaining a clean work area.
  9. Report any mechanical and/or safety issues to Supervisor and/or Leadperson immediately.
Requirements
  • Basic math skills and ability to record data on a spreadsheet.
  • Effective communication with management and co-workers.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and in all environments.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required and maintain a good attendance record.
  • Safe work habits and adherence to company policies and procedures.
